Mondays have been set aside for people to come for the day or just a few hours and enjoy the fellowship of other quilters.

Handwork Day - 2nd Tuesday of the Month, 8th
Only handwork is worked on this day but it can be applique, piecing, knitting, drawing or whatever you prefer to do!

Wool Club - 1st Thursday of the Month, 3rd
Do you work in Wool?  Come in on this day and share your project with others as they work on their wool projects of all sizes,  shapes and talents.

Comfort Quilters - 2nd Thursday of the Month, 10th
Small quilts are made this day and they are given to the Otsego County VA office - over 400 so far!  Fabrics are provided by the group and if you don't want to bring in a machine there's always a need for a seam presser!

Patriotic Quilters - 3rd Thursday of the Month, 17th
35 twin sized quilts with matching pillowcases were presented to local veterans in 2021!  All fabrics are provided by the group and several area long arm quilters do the quilting and then another team puts on the bindings.   Come in and piece one of the many quilt tops that Diane pre cuts for you to work on.

100 Days Project - Saturday the 19th at 10:30am
It's not too late to start your 100 Days Project.  Check out our Facebook page for pictures of the projects started last month.

Recipe of the Month courtesy of Jennifer

Cheesy Ham & Potatoes

1 (8oz) pkg cream cheese
2 (10.75oz) cans cream of celery soup
1/2 cup diced onion
1 and 1/2 cup cubed ham (great way to use leftovers!)
1 and 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/4 tsp pepper
1 (36oz) bag frozen shredded hash browns
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (topping)

In a large bowl, soften the cream cheese and mix with the cream of celery soup.  Stir in onions, ham, Jack cheese and pepper.  Break apart hash browns (do not thaw).  Gently stir in hash browns into the cheese mixture.  Place in a greased baking dish.  Bake covered for 1 hour at 350 degrees.  Uncover and add the cheddar cheese, return to the oven until melted.  Serves 12 unless you have teenagers like Jen, who is lucky to get 4 servings out of the dish.  :)
